  • MS 6th Grade Basketball Titans Fall to CAJ 12-10

With the band concert on Saturday evening, the Titans were down 8 players and stuggled to score the ball in their 12-10 loss to CAJ.  There were 7 active players, and by the end of the game, they were all exhausted.  But that didn't stop them from playing hard and giving their best shot.  The game was close throughout, and the Titans were led offensively by Roland Bridgman and Tyler Wood.  Down two points with 10 seconds left in the game, the Titans had to come up with a steal, which they did, but the last shot fell short.

  • Varsity Basketball, 2nd Place at the Hong Kong Holiday Classic

The Hong Kong Tournament was a great experience for the team. On the first day the team's lack of discipline and failure to do the simple things correctly cost them as they lost close games to Singapore American School [2 points] and ASIJ [1point after overtime]. We won the game against Taipei but again the play was sloppy and error ridden.

  • MS Basketball 7 Picks Up Two Wins in Season Opener at Home

Saturday marked a successful debut for the 7th grade basketball team, beating both YIS and St. Maurs by a combined score of 67-16.  The grade 7's launched a balanced offensive attack against both teams with 12 out of 15 players scoring in the two games.  The Titans were also able to stifle their opponents with strong team defense, defending the rim by cutting off drives and forcing multiple turnovers, resulting in very few good offensive looks from their opponents.  The official scores for both games were 32-6 against YIS and 35-10 against St. Maurs.
