  • JV Basketball Splits 2

With only 2 weeks left in the season, the JV Titans were hoping to be hitting their stride going into the tournament.  The Titans squared off with Zama, the team they had just beat the week before by 22.  Playing the same team twice in such a short span can be dangerous as overconfidence can creep in.  The Titans started out strong coming out to a  9-1 lead to start the game, but they allowed Zama to take momentum back.  By half, St Mary's was only up 22-17.  The Titans continued to struggle to breakaway from the Trojans and held to their 5 point lead after three quarters.

  • Varsity Basketball Update

Thomas Woods vs YokotaAfter a very good Hong Kong Tournament and Fred Sava Christmas Jamboree the Titans returned after the Christmas break to be brought crashing back to reality by a very good Kinnick team. However defeat proved to be the catalyst for improved work rate on defense, less turnovers and more patient running of offense.
