High School
Welcome to St. Mary’s High School
Welcome to the High School at St. Mary’s International School, where we are proud of our long tradition of excellence in serving the needs of boys. Our faculty, administration and staff work together with parents to ensure that each student has the support he needs to reach his full potential. We offer many academic, extra-curricular and special-interest experiences — all designed to serve students as they encounter the unique developmental characteristics of adolescent boys.
We have a committed and dedicated faculty who bring a high level of experience and expertise to their work. We ensure that students are challenged academically in an environment that is welcoming and supportive, and offers opportunities to explore a variety of interests.
Each grade level is divided into homerooms of approximately 15 students. These homerooms serve as small communities to ensure that every student is supported through a variety of adult and peer connections. The core subject teachers meet regularly to collaborate in developing appropriately challenging experiences, and to discuss each student’s growth. In addition, our co-curricular program offers students fine arts, volunteer, and athletic opportunities, as well as a variety of clubs.
High school is a time of transition and change, and as a faculty we are committed to meeting the needs of our boys. Besides working to prepare students for challenges beyond high school, we recognize that it is important to ensure that each student’s experience is unique and tailored to meet his individual needs.
