Welcome to the Middle School/High School Learning Commons

The Learning Commons is open whenever school is in session.

Monday and Friday - 7:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Tuesday - Thursday - 7:30 A. M. - 5:00 P.M.

You can find books, ebooks, audio books magazines and databases.

Research

The Learning Commons offers a variety of e-books and digital audio books through our Destiny catalog.

We also have some online subscriptions to the following newspapers and magazines.

Sakura

Our students participate in the Sakura Medal Program every year where students read from a list of books chosen by librarians from Tokyo. Students can see the current list here and leave comment about the book on the blog by clicking on the book cover.

Events

On Jan. 19th Adam Gidwitz came and shared with the Gr. 6 & 7 students about his book The Inquisitor's Tale. This is one of the Sakura Medal nominated books this year. He held the students captive with stories his travel to France and the inspiration for the book..
